Alloy Steel Fasteners
Alloy Steel Fasteners are alloys of chromium-molybdenum and nickel. Sulphuric acid environments do not damage alloy steel fasteners. Many industries use alloy steel products due to their corrosion resistance. Chloride ion corrosion and pitting do not occur in alloy fasteners, thus causing no damage in such environments. Sulphuric acid contact does corrode alloy. Hence, sulphuric acid environment use does not damage these fasteners.
General corrosion, crevice corrosion and pitting does not occur in these super alloy fasteners. Sulphuric acid corrosion, nitric acid damage and chlori
