Incoloy pipe fittings are made from the Incoloy family of nickel-based alloys, designed for high performance and long-lasting strength. These alloys contain a high percentage of chromium and elements such as iron, cobalt, niobium and molybdenum, providing further stability against corrosion and other harsh industrial conditions. Combining chromium and iron creates a highly effective oxidation barrier to protect against elevated temperatures. At the same time, other elements help to prevent the growth of brittle intermetallic layers that can degrade performance over time. All in all, Incoloy's carefully crafted composition offers superior protection in extreme environments.
Incoloy Pipe Fittings offer superior corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength and elasticity for various applications. They are suitable for extreme temperature ranges, from cryogenic levels up to temperatures above 1100°F. They are incredibly resistant to stress cracking, crevice corrosion, and pitting and can also withstand sulfuric acid environments with uniform corrosion rates. The Incoloy alloy exhibits superior high-temperature strength, excellent oxidation resistance, good fatigue properties and excellent resistance to aqueous corrosion plus sulfuric and phosphoric acids. These characteristics offer the perfect combination of metal-grade components for piping systems operating in very corrosive or high-temperature conditions.
