Titanium Tubing

Titanium tubing are lustrous, with low density and high strength. Variety of alloyants are added to titanium such as vanadium, iron, aluminium and molybdenum to products light weight alloys that are strong. The two properties prominent in titanium tubing are strength-to-density ratio and corrosion resistance.

Titanium tubing are strong with low-density, ductile and lustrous, which makes them usable in many applications. It is effective for usage as refractory metal, owing to its high melting point. Pure titanium has high tensile strength. Hydrochloric, sulphuric and organic acids do not cause much damage to titanium tubing. Titanium Tubing also resist chloride solution attacks. Titanium does not creep in moderately high temperatures. This property makes it usable in naval ships and armour. Medical field also makes use of titanium, due to its bio-compatibility and non-magnetic nature. Corrosion due to water and chemicals are resisted well. Titanium also has applications in motorcycle parts for racing, where low weight is required.
