F46

The flanges are lowly alloyed. They are highly resistant to pitting, crevice, stress cracking, and carbide precipitation corrosion. The alloy can withstand chloride ion bearing environments. The material is also non-magnetic in all conditions and has excellent fabricability and formability. The flanges are suitable for sealing joints because they have high strength and finish which prevents erosion. The grade is available in various designs, dimensions, shapes, and thicknesses depending on customer specifications. The most common types are slip-on, orifice, spectacle, long weld neck, orifice, flat, plate, reducing, lap joint, threaded and socket. The flanges are classified into 150#, 300#, 600#, 900#, 1500#, 2500#, PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, PN64, PN100, and PN160.
