Hastelloy B3 Pipes

Hastelloy B3 pipes are made of a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. The addition of chromium provides better corrosion resistance in some media. The molybdenum gives the alloy resistance to localized attack by graphitization.

Hastelloy Pipes B3 is a pipe with excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strong corrosive agents. It is also resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The pipes high nickel and molybdenum contents make it resistant to localized attacks such as these. In fact, the Hastelloy b3 pipe is so resistant to corrosion that it is often used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and food processing applications.
