This alloy is easily resisting grain boundaries precipitates formation in the area that is heat affected. It is making the alloy suitable for various chemical process applications in welded conditions as well. The C-4 grade is having high resistance to both oxidizing atmosphere and stress corrosion cracking to 1038Degree C. Hastelloy C-4 plates are resistance to a range of chemical process environment. It is including mineral acid, chlorine, contaminates mineral acid and chlorine contaminated media etc. It can be easily forged, impact extruded and hot upset.
