925

925 Incoloy Plate is made of a unique alloy that consists of 24-26 percent chromium, 18-21 percent nickel, 3.5-5 percent iron, 0.8-2.5 percent molybdenum, and 0.7-1.2 percent copper as its chief components. This composition enables Incoloy 925 to possess excellent resistance to pit and stress-corrosion cracking caused by chlorides and sulphuric acid, making it an ideal material for manufacturing heat exchangers, offshore petroleum equipment, and re-tubes for industrial furnaces due to its wear and corrosion-resistant properties. Incoloy also exhibits high strength in the annealed condition, meaning it is highly suitable for applications that depend on hardness and stability without compromising workability or corrosion resistance.

Incoloy 925 Plate is a specialized, nickel-based alloy with high corrosion resistance. It has excellent mechanical properties and is easy to machinability and form, making it a great choice for engineering and aircraft applications. Because of its high heat resistance, the Incoloy Plate can be used in extreme temperatures from cryogenic to 1800°F (1000°C). Additionally, the alloy not only holds up well to oxidization but also offers protection against stress corrosion cracking. This makes it perfect for use in oil refining applications as well as for any component exposed to harsh acids or saline environments. All in all, the Incoloy 925 Plate is an ideal choice for various industrial needs due to its impressive wear and tear characteristics and low vulnerability to hot cracking.
