DIN 2.4668

Inconel DIN2 4668 Nuts are composed of a unique blend of steel and nickel, creating a durable fastener that can withstand extremely hot temperatures and the most challenging corrosive environments. This grade of nuts contains over 72% iron and 18-24% Chromium, while 2.5% Molybdenum provides additional strength, helping them to withstand extreme heat better than other alloys. Adding 8-10.5% Nickel creates an oxidation resistance essential for operating in harsh conditions, enabling it to perform well even when exposed to Plutonium environments. Together these components make an engineered performance nut designed explicitly for higher-temperature applications where other fasteners fail.

DIN2 4668 Inconel Nuts have become increasingly popular components of many industrial applications due to their high strength and corrosion resistance. They are often used for high-temperature and pressure applications, such as those in aerospace engineering and petrochemical industries, and within various car engines and power generators. A significant advantage of these nuts is that they stay ductile at cryogenic temperatures, resulting in increased structural integrity over a more excellent range of temperatures. In addition, they are noted for their resistance to salt water, making them an ideal choice for marine environments and vessels needing outfitting with fasteners. Lastly, Inconel DIN2 4668 Nuts also provide a level of vibration resistance that can be relied upon without fail during operation.
