The Stainless Steel 201 Stud Bolts are austenitic steel which has chromium-nickel-manganese alloy and is manufactured to conserve nickel. Type 201 is a cheaper alternative to conventional stainless steels of Chromium and Nickel like 301 and 304.in this material Nickel is substituted by including manganese plus nitrogen. This robust stainless steel is made non-hardenable by means of thermal treatment, but these are also cold worked to gain higher tensile strengths. These type 2 stainless steel bolts are made non-magnetic in an annealed condition but again magnetic properties when they are cold worked.
They can be replaced in the applications of type 301 bolts. Their products come in the forms of strips and sheets while their standard specification of A666 and ASTM A240. These bolts are utilized in industries of hose clamps, piston rings, a structural member of transit cars, roofing and siding of transit cars, door frames and trailer posts of trucks, thermal window spacers etc. They are manufactured from manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and carbon. These are built under the supervision of veteran quality engineers.
