310

310 grade stainless steel flanges typically contain a composition of Chromium (Cr) 19% - 22%, Nickel (Ni) 24% - 26%, Silicon (Si) 1% or less, Manganese (Mn) 2%, Phosphorous (P) 0.045% or less, Sulfur (S) 0.03% or less and occasionally a trace amount of Carbon (C). Other elements in small amounts, such as Molybdenum, Titanium, and/or Cobalt, may also be present depending on the application. This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance against external environments and high-temperature conditions.

310 SS flanges are suitable for a variety of applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and strength, even at high temperatures. They can be used in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, oil and gas industries, as well as other high-temperature environments that experience exposure to oxidation and chemicals. Their mechanical properties include good ductility and toughness, making them suitable for low-stress components. Additionally, their low thermal expansion rate makes them an ideal choice for tight-tolerance jobs with temperature fluctuations.
