316H

SS 316H 90 Degree Short Radius Elbow is an industrial elbow fitting made of stainless steel, an alloy containing chromium and nickel. Its chemical composition has a remarkable influence on its mechanical characteristics, particularly its resistance to corrosion. The primary elements that make up the B16 alloying element of this elbow are approximately 16-18% chromium, 10-14 cent nickel and a maximum of 2% manganese. The addition of sulfur gives good machinability so that it can be welded easily and, in some cases, more cost-effectively than many ferritic stainless grades. This elbow has exceptional corrosion resistance under most acidic environments, and it also maintains decent strength at elevated temperatures making it ideal for use in low or moderate-heat applications.

Stainless Steel 316H 90 Degree Short Radius Elbow are commonly used in various industries for plumbing and piping projects due to their high corrosion resistance, strength and ability to withstand high temperatures. It also has superior formability and weldability as compared to its conventional counterparts. The material has many uses, including machined components, industrial valves, cryogenic vessels and nuclear reactors. Aside from being highly durable, stainless steel 316H is also aesthetically pleasing with its unique blend of silver-grey colour and brightness. This makes it preferable to use other materials when creating both industrial applications and decorative pieces.
