316H

The chemical composition of Stainless Steel 316h Bolts is as follows: Iron (Fe) - 66.5-73%, Chromium (Cr) – 16-18%, Nickel (Ni) – 10-14%, Manganese (Mn) - 2%, Silicon (Si)- 1.0% max, Carbon (C)- 0.08% max, Phosphorus(P)- 0.045% max and Sulphur(S)- 0.03% max. The addition of molybdenum makes the alloy more resistant to corrosion and pitting than other alloys, even in high-temperature environments. It increases its strength at elevated temperatures up to 1000 degrees Celsius or higher, depending on the application requirements.

316H SS bolts are used for various applications due to their high strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. The alloy has excellent cold-forming and hot-working characteristics, making it suitable for extreme environments. Additionally, the unique composition allows it to maintain its properties over time with minimal fatigue and stress cracking. This makes stainless steel 316H bolts an ideal choice for long-term reliability applications.
