316H

316H Stainless Steel Screw is austenitic stainless steel that contains between 16-18% chromium, 11-14% nickel, 2-3.5 % molybdenum, and 0.08 to 0.20% carbon along with other trace elements such as manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. 316H also has higher mechanical strength than regular grade 316 stainless steel due to its carbide precipitation hardening process, which increases its yield strength in cryogenic temperatures as low as -200°F (-129°C). It’s particularly useful for applications where the screws will be exposed to high heat or corrosive environments since it provides excellent corrosion resistance and excellent formability at elevated temperatures too.

SS 316h Screws are used in corrosive applications such as chemical and water treatment due to their superior corrosion resistance. The grade offers higher creep and stress rupture properties than other austenitic grades. These screws offer excellent strength at elevated temperatures, good formability, weldability, and easy fabrication compared to conventional grades of stainless steel.

FAQ's for Stainless Steel 316H Screw

Stainless Steel 316H Screw Price Starts At Rs 10/Piece To Rs 16/Piece.

No, stainless steel 316H screws are not magnetic. They are non-magnetic because they contain molybdenum, chromium, and nickel as their major alloying elements and all three of these metals have low magnetic properties.
