347H

Stainless Steel 347H EFW Pipes is a high-carbon austenitic stainless steel that contains significant amounts of chromium, nickel, and columbium (niobium). This makes it highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion, even in high-temperature environments. The chemical composition of Stainless Steel 347H Efw Pipes consists of iron (Fe), chromium (Cr) at 17-20%, nickel (Ni) at 9-13%, columbium (Cb) at 10xC-1.10%, carbon (C) at 0.04-0.10%, manganese (Mn) at 2%, silicon (Si) at 1%, and the balance being iron. The high carbon content of this stainless steel grade provides improved high-temperature strength, while the presence of columbium gives it excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion.

SS 347H EFW Pipes are corrosion-resistant pipes used in high-temperature applications. They have excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and offer good resistance to general decline, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting. These pipes have a high creep strength and good oxidation resistance. They have a high melting point and are highly resistant to scaling and sulfidation. The presence of niobium in their composition improves their intergranular corrosion resistance. They are commonly used in heat exchangers, gas turbine components, and high-temperature chemical process equipment.
