Stainless Steel 310H Bolts

310H stainless steel bolts are composed of an austenitic grade of stainless steel that is highly alloyed. This alloy consists of 22-24% chromium, 13-15% nickel, 2% manganese, 1% silicon, and 0.04-0.08% carbon. This combination gives this grade of stainless steel excellent weldability and formability and increased strength compared to other austenitic grades of stainless steel.

310H SS bolts are used in various applications due to their strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance. This grade of stainless steel is commonly used in heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves, pumps, flanges, fasteners and other components operating at extremely elevated temperatures .The properties of this grade include excellent weldability and formability, along with improved strengths compared to austenitic stainless steels. This stainless steel also features excellent intergranular corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance at elevated temperatures. Additionally, these bolts have a high creep strength of up to 1150°C (2100°F).
