Incoloy 825 Electrodes

The electrode is highly resistant to corrosion. It is enhanced with copper, molybdenum, and titanium. It has a stable austenite structure and can withstand chloride ion stress cracking corrosion. Mo and Cu elements give the electrode ability to resist reduction and oxidation by acids and other compounds. The filler metal can withstand temperatures of up to 7600 C. The electrode is also resistant to corrosion by nitric and sulfuric acid at mild temperatures. The alloy is prone to embrittlement in temperatures above 5500 C. The filler wire is also resistant to intergranular corrosion.

Properties of Incoloy 825 electrodes
