ER312

SS ER312 Filler Wire is made of iron-chromium-nickel alloy combined with tungsten and molybdenum components. With a minimum chromium content of 19%, it provides superior corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, making it suitable for general fabrications, welding of steels such as 304L and 309L, pressure vessels, petrochemical applications, appliances, and other marine environments. In addition to its strength, the ASTM-approved material has rigid mechanical properties that make it resistant to cracking in high-temperature applications. It also offers superior weldability compared to other stainless steel alloys.

ER312 stainless steel filler wire is used for welding 304 and 304L stainless steels. This wire provides good corrosion resistance and can be used in applications where welds will be exposed to salt water. ER312 filler wire is available in spools of 0.035", 0.045", and 0.062" in diameter.
