309H

309H Stainless Steel flanges are made of an austenitic stainless steel alloy and have a nominal composition of 23.0- 27.0% chromium, 13.0- 15.0% nickel, 1.25- 2.50% silicon, 0.030% maximum carbon, 0.045% maximum sulfur, and 0.03% phosphorus and a balance of iron. This alloy is commonly used in petrochemical processing, heat exchangers, boilers, and other components requiring high corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures up to 1800°F or higher in some cases.

309H SS flanges are commonly used in petrochemical processing, heat exchangers, boilers, and other components that require both high corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures up to 1800°F or higher in some cases. The properties of 309H Stainless Steel Flanges include superior corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, excellent oxidation resistance up to 1900°F (1038°C), and toughness at cryogenic temperatures.
