718

Inconel 718 Nuts is a highly corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant alloy made of nickel, chromium and iron. Additional elements such as molybdenum, niobium, titanium, and aluminium also make up the chemical composition of Inconel 718 Nuts. Combining these elements enhances its excellent resistance to oxidization at high temperatures and helps it maintain strength under cryogenic temperatures. Its tensile strength is superb in both low and high-temperature atmospheres. Due to their impressive durability under extreme conditions, common uses for Inconel 718 nuts are aircraft parts, nuclear reactor components, petrochemical industry parts, ship components, and turbine engines.

Inconel 718 Nuts are the preferred fastener option for high-temperature applications due to their extreme strength and fracture toughness. At temperatures up to 1,200 °F (649 °C), these nickel-based alloys offer long-term creep resistance and the ability to maintain tensile strength under mechanical stress. The high fatigue strength, excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, and light weight of 718 Inconel Nuts make them a perfect choice for bolting parts on aircraft engines, water turbines, spacecraft components, fasteners in nuclear plants, and numerous other industrial uses.
