201

201 Nickel Alloy Pipe Fittings are composed of low carbon nickel-alloy containing a maximum of 16% chromium, 6.5-7.5% molybdenum, 4-6% manganese, and a maximum of 0.15% phosphorus and 0.3% sulfur. This specific alloy also contains 66.5-68.5% nickel which gives it exceptional corrosion resistance, perfect for pipes used in severe environments or high temperatures and pressures that could otherwise cause oxidation or pitting over time in most metals. Also, Nickel Alloy 201 Pipe Fittings can be hardened through cold working to greater strength levels while retaining excellent flexibility, even at cryogenic temperatures (below -423°F).

Nickel Alloy 201 Pipe Fittings have numerous industrial applications due to their high temperature, pressure and corrosion resistance properties. The deficient levels of carbon, sulfur, silicon and phosphorous in these fittings make them suitable for use within various industries, from chemical processing to aerospace engineering. Nickel Alloy 201 Pipe Fittings are widely used in fire protection systems due to their unique strength and flexibility, allowing engineers to craft tight yet flexible fittings for varying pipe diameters and lengths. The electroless nickel plating process also provides added durability against corrosion and abrasion necessary for many long-term engineering projects. With such versatile properties, it's no wonder Nickel Alloy 201 Pipe Fittings are popular among engineers tackling any industrial endeavour.
