C2000

Hastelloy c2000 screw is made of a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that contains iron and manganese. This combination imparts exceptional overall corrosion resistance properties, including protection against pitting in oxidizing or neutral aqueous solutions, outstanding strength at high temperatures, stress corrosion cracking resistance, and increased oxidation resistance. This combination also results in the Hastelloy c2000 screw featuring superior weldability and physical characteristics ideal for deep-drawn parts. In addition, it has good formability and machinability and is molybdenum – up to four times more resistant to chloride pitting than austenitic stainless steels.

The Hastelloy C2000 Screw is an alloy of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, demonstrating superior corrosion resistance compared to other metal alloys. This makes it a popular choice for industrial manufacturing and chemical processing applications. It also has excellent mechanical properties such as high strength, low thermal expansion rate and good weldability. The C2000 Hastelloy Screw can be used in chemical pumps, valves, flanges and other components exposed to corrosive chemicals and temperatures up to about 500°F (260°C). It also finds use in nuclear engineering applications due to its radiation resistance. In addition, it is highly resistant to sulfuric and hydrochloric acids and stress-corrosion cracking in acetone-methyl ethyl ketone mixtures.

FAQ's for Hastelloy C2000 Screw

Hastelloy c2000 screw is commonly used in applications requiring high corrosion resistance, such as petrochemical plants, pipelines, and oil refineries. It is also suitable for use in power plants, pharmaceuticals and food processing.

Hastelloy c2000 screw offers excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing media. It has good mechanical strength and can be welded without the need for post-weld heat treatment up to 401°C (750°F). Additionally, Hastelloy c2000 screw resists localized corrosion such as pitting and stress corrosion cracking.

Yes, Hastelloy C2000 screws are eco-friendly. They are made of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, which is more resistant to corrosion and oxidation than other materials such as stainless steel or brass. The material used in the production of Hastelloy screws is also recyclable, making them a great environmental choice. Additionally, they are designed to perform their job with minimal friction and wear, thus reducing energy consumption and maximizing energy efficiency.
