Gr 7

Titanium GR7 Screws consist primarily of the two chemical elements titanium and aluminium. Titanium provides strength, enabling them to withstand high temperatures, while aluminium offers increased corrosion resistance and electrical and thermal conductivity. The difference between Titanium GR7 Screws and other alloy screws lies in their specific composition of 90 per cent titanium, 6 per cent aluminium and 4 per cent vanadium, making them more durable and perfect for applications requiring strong corrosion resistance. Their unique properties also make them suitable for extreme temperature ranges and vibration dampening, making them non-magnetic.

Screws Titanium GR7 are widely used in many industries due to their remarkable properties. GR7 is an alloy of titanium, aluminium, and vanadium, giving it excellent corrosion resistance and strength, making it suitable for various applications. Its excellent fatigue resistance makes it ideal for high-pressure applications, and its excellent biocompatibility makes it an ideal choice for medical and orthopedic implants. This material has a higher tensile strength than steel at the same weight, making it much lighter than the metal alternatives. Its light weight also helps reduce vibration when used with rotating parts, resulting in better stability and performance. On top of all these benefits, Titanium GR7 Screws have a nice finish, providing a great look and aesthetic if used in visible applications such as furniture or jewelry

FAQ's for Titanium Gr 7 Screw

The density of the Titanium GR7 Screw is 4.51 g/cm3, similar to other grade 7 titanium alloy components. It is slightly less than the densities of other Ti-Grades, such as Grade 5 (4.43 g/cm3) and Grade 9 (4.54 g/cm3).

Titanium grade 7 screws can be welded using gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) or more commonly referred to as TIG welding. This method ensures high strength with minimal distortion and minimal contamination from foreign elements

Titanium GR7 Screws are highly durable and strong due to their superior tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and reliable fatigue strength. They also have good weldability and machinability, which makes them suitable for tough industrial applications.
