The Incoloy 825 Washers belong to the family of molybdenum, nickel, chromium alloy which are known for their rugged construction and good strength against corrosive environments and extreme temperature. They come in two categories of punched washers and flat washers. Flat washers are of iron, nickel and chromium alloy having contents of copper and molybdenum. While punched washers are of the bonded coating of resin type offer extraordinary resistance against acidic chemicals and lower frictional rate. The machined washers of Incoloy 825 are known for their temperature stability, robustness, and excellent corrosive resistance in severe working environments. These qualities of this alloy are well utilized in industries of marine, aerospace, electronics, and petrochemical.
The austenitic round washers of this group are constructed from the base material of nickel and show good ductility and offer good strength in both cryogenic as well as elevated temperatures of up to 1000°F.
